Do I pay to try it?
No — setting up is free. Sign up, invite your team, and connect ACTIVE without a card. When you’re ready to switch on the automation, you activate with a 7-day free trial: add a card, no charge until day 7, and cancel any time before then and pay nothing. After that it’s one flat fee.
Do I need to run my camp on ACTIVE Network?
Yes — Camp Notice is built for camps on ACTIVE’s Camp & Class Manager. It reads your roster through ACTIVE’s API and sends families to ACTIVE to register — without an ACTIVE account there’s nothing to connect to.
Is an ACTIVE API key required?
Required to go live — not to get started. Sign up, set up your camp, and send the pre-written API request from inside Camp Notice (we draft the support ticket for you). ACTIVE usually replies in 2–3 business days; paste the key in Settings and your roster imports on its own.
Will it text my whole waitlist at once?
Never. Camp Notice offers each spot to one family at a time, in waitlist order. Your camp sets the claim window in Settings — 15 minutes by default, adjustable from 10 to 60.
How do families register?
The text and email carry a secure link — one tap holds the seat and opens your ACTIVE registration page, where they pay as usual. Payments never touch Camp Notice.
What happens if nobody claims the spot?
Each family gets its window, then the offer moves down the list. If the whole list is exhausted, the spot is flagged on your dashboard and your team is notified — nothing is ever booked without an explicit claim.
Do you take a cut of recovered bookings?
No. One flat monthly fee — no commission, no per-booking charges. Cancel anytime on month-to-month.
What happens if I cancel?
Offers and notifications pause — nothing is deleted. Your sessions, waitlists and history stay right where they are (and keep syncing), and everything resumes the moment you pick a plan again.
