ACA-accredited camps in Maryland

Questions

How many ACA-accredited summer camps are in Maryland?

This directory lists 70 ACA-accredited summer camps in Maryland. Each page shows the camp’s town, ages, and program facts from its own public listing.

What does ACA accredited mean?

The American Camp Association accredits camps through a voluntary peer review against nearly 300 standards for health, safety, program quality and risk management, from staff screening and training to emergency plans, transportation and swimming. It can be granted on a three-year cycle, and camps are expected to keep to the standards every year. Accreditation is listed here as the camp’s own American Camp Association listing shows it.

What if sign-ups haven’t opened yet?

Set up a watch: we check the camp’s public registration page day and night and email you the moment sign-ups open — and again if a full week opens up. $25 per camp, one time — registration stays on the camp’s own site.
